On September 20th, students from Kristen Orsini’s Language classes and Jennifer Timmis’ Pre-Algebra classes attended the Chihuly exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Dale Chihuly is a world-renowned artist whose glass installations are found around the world in historic cities, museums, and gardens. Visiting the exhibit was the culminating experience of a STEAM project whose learning objectives included approaching problems from multiple perspectives and finding patterns in language, art, and mathematics.
