The Maker Faire was a HUGE success! Our Brush Bots were so popular that we ended up running out of materials at the end of both Saturday and Sunday. By the end of Day 1, we had gone through 300 brushbot kits! We had makers of all ages who loved making their own brushbot. We had three stadiums for the kids to compete their brush bots against each other that were created by students from Mrs. Baker’s 6th grade Art Class using the STEAM Lab! One stadium had a spiral center, another stadium had lots of tunnels, and the last stadium had a tower the brush bots fell through. Our booth was on the football field of Decatur High School, and we got to see lots of Westminster students and other members of the community. Thank you to everyone who helped to volunteer to make the Maker Faire a success.
