Robotics, Future City Competitions

Westminster Middle School Robotics had a successful competition this past Saturday, with all of our teams competing for a chance to qualify for the state level. Teams 6199A (Andrew Thompson, Christopher Huang, Joseph Kuester), 6199C (Theron Boozer, Henry Banner) and 6199E (Willem Mandel) all worked hard but came up short against stiff competition. The remaining two teams both won first place and secured a spot in the state competition in February. Congratulations to team 6199B (Alessandro Bruschi, Mason Yu, Arjun Pradhan) and 70A (Will Jenkins) for their hard work!

4 Future Cities teams competed at Kennesaw State University on Saturday. Each team submitted an essay and a virtual city, then made two 7 minute presentations to judges, followed by 5 minutes of questions. While we did not win any awards, it was a great experience for the students.
